2nd Stage - Filing an Application for Registration
Upon receipt of instructions, our Attorney will file and process your
trademark application before the Intellectual Property Corporation of
Malaysia (MyIPO). If there is no objection, the mark will proceed
directly to the acceptance. |

3rd Stage - Government Gazette
Once accepted, an application is published for opposition in
Government Gazatte. If there is no objection from any 3rd party after a period of 30 days from the date of gazette, the application will proceed to registration and a certificate will be issued.

4th Stage – Issuance of Certificate
Obtaining and forwarding certificate of registration. Thereafter,
the registration remains valid for a period of 10 years and is
renewable for further periods of 10 years.
*The entire process from filing an application to registration in a
straightforward application typically takes around 12 to 16 months
